معرفی دوره:
در دنیای امروز که آزمون آیلتس یکی از معتبرترین مسیرهای سنجش مهارت زبان انگلیسی برای مهاجرت، تحصیل و اشتغال در سطح بینالمللی است، آموزش آن دیگر صرفاً انتقال اطلاعات نیست؛ بلکه ترکیبی است از دانش تخصصی زبان، مهارتهای آموزشی پیشرفته و درک عمیق از ساختار آزمون.سمپوزیوم تخصصی تدریس آیلتس با هدف توانمندسازی مدرسین زبان انگلیسی و آمادهسازی آنها برای مواجهه با چالشهای واقعی کلاسهای آیلتس طراحی شده است. در سومین سمپوزیم تربیت مدرس آیلتس که توسط دانشگاه خوارزمی با همکاری ویرا آکادمی از تاریخ 30 مرداد لغایت 14 شهریور ماه بصورت آنلاین در سامانه اختصاصی دانشگاه برگزار می شود، شرکتکنندگان در فضایی علمی و کاربردی با آخرین روشهای تدریس چهار مهارت آیلتس (Speaking، Listening، Reading، Writing)، واژگان و دستور زبان کاربردی آزمون آیلتس آشنا میشوند. در این سمپوزیم، 25 ترینر باسابقه آیلتس به همراه 4 سخنران کلیدی با هدف توانمندسازی حرفهای مدرسین زبان و استانداردسازی شیوههای تدریس آزمون آیلتس در ایران استفاده شده است.
این سمپوزیوم فرصتی بینظیر برای مدرسینی است تمایل دارند مسیر توسعه حرفه ای خود را سریعتر سپری نمایند و به جمع مدرسین متخصص و معتبر آیلتس در کشور بپیوندند.
ضرورت و اهمیت این دوره:
با پیچیدهتر شدن فرآیند آموزش زبان در دهههای اخیر، آموزش آیلتس نیز از سطح عمومی تدریس زبان فراتر رفته و به دانشی تخصصی در حوزه مهارتمحور، تحلیل آزمون، و ارزیابی هدفمند تبدیل شده است. از سوی دیگر، تغییرات پیدرپی در ساختار آزمون آیلتس، معیارهای نمرهدهی، و نحوه ارزیابی توسط ممتحنین رسمی کمبریج، نیاز به مدرسینی را افزایش داده که نهتنها بر اصول آموزش زبان، بلکه بر طراحی حرفهای دورههای آیلتس مسلط باشند. همزمان با گسترش فناوریهای آموزشی، ابزارهای دیجیتال، و منابع نوین یادگیری، مدرسین آیلتس باید قادر باشند بهصورت هوشمندانه، نتیجهمحور و ساختارمند تدریس کنند تا پاسخگوی نیاز بازار پررقابت آموزش آیلتس باشند. این سمپوزیوم به شرکتکنندگان کمک میکند تا مهارت تدریس خود را از سطح عمومی به سطح تخصصی و استاندارد بینالمللی ارتقاء دهند و به عنوان مدرسین حرفهای، توانایی تحلیل، اصلاح و ارتقاء نمره زبانآموزان را بهصورت مستند و علمی بهدست آورند.

Dr. Hossein Farhady
Dr. Hossein Farhady is a distinguished Iranian-American applied linguist with over four decades of experience in language testing, classroom assessment, and ESP. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from UCLA, completing both his MA and Ph.D. in just four years — a record achievement at the university. Dr. Farhady has held academic positions at institutions such as UCLA, Texas A&M, USC, American University of Armenia, and Yeditepe University in Istanbul. He has served as editor for 14 international journals and supervised over 60 MA and Ph.D. theses. His prolific research includes more than 50 articles and 15 books, with notable contributions to learning-oriented assessment and EFL/EAP test development. He has also led nationwide research projects and presented at major conferences including TESOL, AAAL, and EALTA. Currently, he teaches at Yeditepe University and continues to influence the field through academic leadership and innovation in assessment practices.

Dr. Golamreza Abbasian
Dr. Gholam-Reza Abbasian, is an associate professor of TEFL at Imam Ali University, Tehran, Iran, and a member of the Teaching English Language & Literature Society of Iran (TELLSI) Board of Directors. He has presented at (inter) national conferences, authored about 200 academic papers in scholarly peer-reviewed journals and written/translated about 15 books. He offers language Testing and Assessment, Research Methods, and SLA courses at PhD level, and has supervised more than 150 MA theses and PhD dissertations. He is an Editor-in Chief of: International Journal of Research in English Education (IJREE) and Journal of Teaching English Language Studies (JTELS). Moreover, he acts as an external examiner of PhD dissertations of Malaysian universities and as the internal manager of JOMM, and reviewer of Sage, FLA & GJER and some other journals.

Dr. Beikian
Dr. Ali Beikian, Assistant Professor of Translation Studies at Chabahar University of Maritime and Marine Sciences, is a pioneering expert with over 22 years of experience in technology-driven language solutions, including over 8 years specializing in technology-assisted language teaching and learning. With a Ph.D. in Translation Studies from the University of Isfahan, he has developed cutting-edge curricula integrating AI and advanced tools to enhance language acquisition and learner engagement. As Director of International Scientific Cooperation, he has led global academic initiatives and conducted over 10 workshops on AI in language teaching, equipping educators with innovative technologies. His 24 journal papers explore AI-driven topics such as flipped classroom methodologies, online collaborative platforms, data-driven learning, and AI-enhanced feedback systems, cementing his expertise in technology-assisted pedagogy. As a Certified SDL Trados User and Certified SDL Trados Trainer, Dr. Beikian has mastered 25 CAT tools and supports foreign companies with training and reinforcement learning for AI-assisted language software. His commitment to leveraging technology for language education is evident in his research and workshops, which focus on optimizing AI and digital tools for transformative learning outcomes. At the Summer School on AI in Language Teaching, Dr. Beikian will share advanced AI-driven strategies and technologies to empower educators in revolutionizing language instruction, drawing on his extensive technological and academic expertise.

Dr. Mojtaba Mohammadi
Mojtaba Mohammadi is an assistant professor of applied linguistics. He is the former HOD and Dean of the Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages. He has published a number of papers, book chapters published by Routledge and MacMillan Publishers and has an entry in the "TESOL Encyclopedia of English Language Teaching" published by Wiley (2018). He was the chair of the 15th Intl Conference of Teaching English and Literature Society of Iran (TELLSI) (2017). Mojtaba is now a member of the TELLSI Board of Directors. He has also attended and presented in a number of conferences such as TESOL France, EuroCALL, TESOLArabia, .... His areas of interest are Language Testing and Assessment, computer-assisted language learning, and Teacher Education. He is also the co-founder of ELTacademia.com, an educational center for ELT teachers, professors, and researchers.

Dr. Amir Hossein Alborzi
Amir Hossein Alborzi possesses over 30 years of teaching experience at universities and prestigious institutions of higher education. He holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and both Master's and Ph.D. degrees in English Language Teaching (ELT). His area of academic specialization is etymological analysis of English vocabulary, a subject he has taught for many years at the university level. He has extensively taught General English courses for Master’s and Ph.D. entrance exams across various fields, as well as specialized courses in language-related disciplines such as Translation Studies, English Literature, and English Language Teaching. He has also served as an academic advisor for renowned language institutes, contributing to the organization and delivery of expert workshops on international language proficiency tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, and GRE, as well as domestic exams including MSRT, EPT, and TOLIMO.

Dr. Norouzi
Dr. Amirhossein Norouzi is an Assistant Professor of English Language Teaching (ELT) with a Ph.D. in TEFL. He specializes in teacher education, curriculum development, and language assessment. Dr. Norouzi has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in EFL methodology, academic writing, and applied linguistics. His research interests include technology-enhanced language learning, formative assessment, and professional development for language educators. He has presented at national and international conferences and contributed to teacher training programs across various institutions. His commitment to pedagogical innovation and academic excellence continues to shape his work in empowering future educators.

Farhang Bohlool
Farhang Bohlool has been an English teacher and trainer since 1992. He holds MA in TEFL, CELTA, and Cert. TESOL and Cambridge Train the Trainer. He has also been IELTS Speaking Mock Examiner for Irsafam. His areas of interest are teacher training and development.
Mohammad Shahin Taghaddomi
Mohammad Shahin Taghaddomi is currently an assistant professor of TEFL at the Institute for Research and Development in the Humanities (SAMT) in Tehran, Iran. He has widely published and presented papers in national and international journals and conferences. His primary areas of interest are teacher education, e-learning, ESP and curriculum development. He is also interested in culturally responsive teaching.

Dr. Saeed Hedayati
S. Saeed Hedayati is a highly experienced English language educator and IELTS specialist with over 20 years of teaching experience. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature, a Master’s in TEFL, and is currently pursuing a PhD in TEFL.
He is a certified TESOL instructor (LTi Australia), a graduate of the British Council’s Teacher Training (ToT) program, and an accredited Speaking Mock Examiner by Irsafam. Over the past 14 years, he has focused extensively on IELTS preparation—particularly in the writing and reading modules—and has trained both in-service and pre-service teachers for more than a decade.
Since 2020, he has taken the IELTS test multiple times to stay current with exam standards, achieving remarkable scores: Listening 9.0, Reading 9.0, Speaking 8.5, and Writing 8.0.
Currently, Saeed is the CEO of IELTSMAX Language Academy and serves as the Educational Quality Control Manager at IELTSDaily Academy. He was previously a faculty member at Qaiwan International University in Iraq (2020–2021), where he contributed to academic development and teacher training.

Shaparak Zavieh

Dr. Mohammaditabar
I am Mohammad Mohammaditabar. I began my journey in teaching English back in 2002 and have been fortunate to gather over twenty years of experience in this wonderful field. Along the way, I earned my PhD in English Language Education, focusing on the universal qualities that make language teachers effective. As part of my academic adventures, my master’s thesis explored the IELTS test. With guidance from my advisor, who was an IELTS examiner, I investigated why many Iranian candidates find the IELTS writing section challenging. The insights I gained from this study deeply influenced my teaching methods. So far, I’ve taken the IELTS exam ten times, and in my most recent attempt, I scored 8.5; however, my ambition to achieve a perfect score of 9 remains as strong as ever.
In addition to my teaching qualifications, I proudly hold a TESOL Trinity Certificate (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Trinity College

Hamed Hashemian
Hamed Hashemian is an international seasoned English teacher and a teacher trainer with 15 years of teaching and 7 years of regional and international training experien. He holds an MA in English Language Teaching Studies and a DIPTESOL from Trinity College London, CELTA, IHCAM, IHCOLT, IHCYLT, IH Obs & FB, and an IGCSE from Cambridge. Saeed Ghasempour
Saeed Ghassempoor Omam is a certified English language teacher holding TAE from Australia Institute of Technology and Transfer, and CELTA from University of Cambridge -ESOL Examinations. He is currently an EAP Lecturer at The University of Adelaide, Australia. He has taught a variety of multimodal classes, including face-to-face, online, and/or hybrid classes and is passionate about transformative education and committed to continuous learning and professional development. He is active, well-skilled and detail-oriented with a high range of abilities in working with other people.
An English teacher, a teacher educator and an HR solutions designer with 23 years of experience in the field of language education and human resources management, his previous collaborations include working as a freelance ELT professional training fresh and in-service teachers, managing and owning Zabanzad English School, managing the department of human resources support and development at Safirplus English School, directing courses at Iranzamin Language Institute, and directing courses as well as teaching English at Tayarani Language School.

Bijan Saeedi
Bijan Saeidi holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA TESOL) and is an accomplished university lecturer, academic manager, and teacher trainer with extensive experience in ELT (English Language Teaching) and IELTS instruction. nHe's experienced delivering several workshops at several prestigious institutions, including Shahid Beheshti University, Tarbiat Modares University, and IRSAFAM, where he's conducted teacher training programs and contributed curriculum development. Additionally, as the founder and manager of Lingodrum, a newly-established online language institute, he plays a key role in designing innovative educational strategies. Ramin Vaezi
Having obtained his Ph.D. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from Islamic Azad University Esfahan Branch in 2019, Dr. Ramin Vaezi has been a Cambridge certified teacher trainer since May 2021. In addition, he has taught many IELTS preparatory courses and trained a large number of IELTS teachers as well for more than 15 years. His areas of research interest include Second Language Acquisition, writing and speaking evaluation, and Flipped Instruction. As a certified teacher trainer by Cambridge and IDP, he remains actively engaged in professional growth. Amir Barazandeh
Born in 1994, Amir Barazande holds an MA in English Language and Literature from Shahid Beheshti University. His teaching career spans well over a decade, and institutes in three major cities. He has been certified by IDP Australia and Cambridge University as an IELTS coach and teacher trainer. He holds an 8.5 in IELTS (the academic module) with an 8.5 in writing, which has been his main area of expertise for the past eight years. He holds a range of GE and TP classes including CAE, CPE, IELTS Writing and Speaking, TOEFL Writing and Speaking, GRE AW and Verbal, GMAT AW, and SAT RC.

Dr. Hamed Montazeran
Hamed Montazeran, born in March 1985, holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Translation and a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from the University of Tehran. He got his PhD in TEFL from the Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, having secured the top national rank in the 2015 entrance exam.
Since 2017, he has been an approved teacher trainer certified by the British Council, and since 2019, he has also served as a licensed IELTS mock examiner for the Irsafam Institute in Tehran. His career in English language teaching began in February 2002 at the Foreign Language Academy in Yazd, and he officially started teaching IELTS skills in 2008.
Hamed has also worked for over five years as the Director of Studies at Safir Language Academy in Yazd. Since 2009, he has been teaching both general and specialized English courses at various universities in Yazd, as well as at the Kish International Campus of the University of Tehran.

Zhaleh Panahi
I am an accomplished English teacher and teacher trainer, possessing a total of 22 years of instructional experience, of which 8 years have been dedicated to regional and international training initiatives. I hold a PhD and an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), as well as a Diploma in TESOL from TESOL Arabia and a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) from Cambridge University. As a certified teacher trainer accredited by the British Council, Cambridge, and International House, I also serve as a Cambridge-certified IELTS tutor. I prioritize continuous professional development and actively engage in major English Language Teaching (ELT) conferences across Asia.

Dr. Alireza Karbalaei
Dr. Alireza Karbalaei is assistant professor in TEFL and Head of the Department of English Language at Farhangian University in Tehran, now. He has been the Head of English Departmentin Kish and Qeshm International branch for four years, where he was the program coordinator of MA students. Currently, he teaches BA and MA courses on research methodology, academic writing, teaching skills, and translation courses and has supervised over 60 MA theses.As he has been the editor of 14 international journals, he was interested in translation and editing about 8 years ago. In this regard, he launched a translation and editing department in Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, in order to enhance the quality of academic translation and edit the papers rejected by different journals. About 200 papers edited by this center were accepted in different well-known journals affiliated to Elsevier, Springer, Sage, and other publications. He has already held 14 workshops on academic translation and academic writing at Shahid Beheshti University, Iran. With a keen interest in empirical studies, he has published 58 papers in different international journals and five books in the field of ELT. He is the editor-in chief of the Journal of Advance in English Language Teaching. His academic qualifications include BA, MA, and PhD in English Language Teaching. He has previously worked as a freelance and in-house translator, editor and proofreader, and language school supervisor.
